Raised amid the rich cultural tapestry of El Salvador, Chef Tulio embarked on an extraordinary journey, leaving his beloved parents and ten siblings behind to embark on an odyssey to the United States. His driving force? A resolute commitment to provide a brighter future for his family, a goal that has guided him through every twist and turn of his life.

His humble beginnings in the culinary world saw him start as a dishwasher, but it didn’t take long for his innate talent and insatiable curiosity to shine through. A burning passion for culinary arts was ignited within him, and he embraced this new path with steady determination. As a self-taught chef, he honed his skills, constantly pushing the boundaries of his culinary knowledge.

Chef Tulio’s culinary journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, with his remarkable talent taking him through the kitchens of renowned establishments such as The Cheesecake Factory, J. Alexanders, Seasons 52, Grille 401, and Beachhouse Pompano. Each experience added to the palette of his expertise, enriching his culinary vocabulary, and inspiring him to create unforgettable dishes.

Today, Chef Tulio makes his grand debut as the visionary chef behind the sensational culinary offerings at Tulio’s Tacos. Here, his culinary creations are a testament to his roots, pulsating with Latin and Mexican influences that tantalize the taste buds and ignite the senses. His specialty lies in crafting small plates that deliver big flavors, a testament to his steadfast commitment to creating memorable dining experiences.

But there’s more to this multifaceted personality than just his culinary prowess. In his spare time, he finds joy on the soccer and baseball fields, where he nurtures his love for sports and camaraderie. He also cherishes the precious moments when he returns to his homeland, where family reunions become the backdrop for creating new memories.

Born from an unyielding dedication to his family’s well-being and forged through sweat, determination, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, Chef Tulio’s journey is a testament to the American dream. With every plate he crafts and every dish he serves, he not only tantalizes the palate but also carries the enduring spirit of a remarkable life story that continues to unfold.

CHEF TULIO

Born and raised in El Salvador he left behind his parents and 10 siblings to emigrate to the US for an opportunity to help provide for his family.  He started his culinary career as a dishwasher and discovered a passion and desire to learn more and grow. As a self-taught chef he has had the pleasure of working in kitchens for concepts like The Cheesecake Factory, J. Alexanders, Seasons 52, Grille 401, and Beachhouse Pompano. Making his debut as a chef with Tulio’s Tacos he focuses his offerings on small plates with big taste and is known for his Latin/Mexican inspired dishes. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer and baseball and returning home to visit his family.
